Report the Accident to Insurance

In general, it is advisable to contact your insurance company immediately following an accident, regardless of who is at fault. They can take your statement, contact the other driver(s), and initiate the claim process on your behalf. If you need a rental car during your repairs you will need to contact the adjuster handling the insurance claim to set up your rental car.
