Our Repair Process
Our purpose at Concours Elite Collision Center is to restore the structural integrity of your vehicle to ensure the safety of you and your loved ones. Learn how we repair your vehicle as an I-CAR Gold Class Shop with Gold Class Safety Standards and procedures by walking through our repair process here.
Make an Appointment for a Free Estimate
We will need you to make an appointment first for your estimate by calling our office at (530) 891-0234. If you are going through your insurance company, please have your claim number available for insurance purposes but if you do not have your claim number do not worry our friendly estimators will take care of you with ease. Estimates are by appointment only.
Drop-off
Once you have obtained an estimate from our repair shop, we will schedule your repair date, assist with your rental car arrangements (if needed), and work with your insurance company to ensure you are getting the most out of your policy, safe repairs, and cost of repairs.
Auto Body Repair
After drop-off, your vehicle directly moves into the body shop, where we will remove all parts that require separate repair or replacement and perform body and structural repair work. After auto body repairs, your vehicle will be accessed by quality control's rigorous multi-step "Quality Control Safety Inspection" to ensure the safety of your repairs before moving on to the next step of our repair process.
Paint
After auto body repairs, your vehicle now moves into our paint shop, where we use state-of-the-art computerized technology to match your vehicle's paint based on manufacturer codes and paint brand to ensure color-matching.
We use an attentive multi-step application process to ensure a quality blending of the new and old finishes of paint. Your vehicle is then polished and prepared for reassembly before entering another quality control checkpoint.
Reassembly
After repairs and paint are completed, your vehicle returns to the body shop for reassembly, where your vehicle is reassembled with lamps, air conditioning, grills, doors, and other parts involved in your repairs.
Once assembled your vehicle enters another step of our quality control checkpoint to ensure all authorized repair work is completed with safe, complete, quality repairs and our work reflects our I-CAR Gold Class standards.
Detail and Disinfect
Once your vehicle's repairs are safely completed, your vehicle moves into detail, where your vehicle's interior is professionally cleaned, disinfected, vacuumed, and your car is washed, polished, and waxed.

This final step ensures your vehicle will look pristine upon pick up and allows our technicians to review cosmetic repairs one more time. *COVID-19 Safety is practiced at Concours Elite Collision Center.
Quality Control
Our team has implemented a rigorous multi-step process to ensure proper, safe repairs. When you leave your vehicle with us, you know we are providing you with SAFE, COMPLETE, QUALITY repairs that you can count on for life. All our repairs and paint come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY as long as you own the vehicle.
Pick-up
After quality control's conclusive report is completed and your vehicle has gone through detail/sanitation, your vehicle's repairs are now complete and ready for pick-up. The estimated completion date is given to you when you first schedule the initial repairs.
